An old favorite of ours is vSocial. We’ve had support for their video content from the outset and like their new redesign. So if you’re a fan of vSocial check out this article written by Liz over at NewTeeVee.
Startup vSocial, which sells white-label video-sharing solutions, also has a destination site where it plays with new features. Today, the company launched something kind of cool — a way for users to clip and “quote” pieces of video, adding tags and inline comments.
Over at Mashable, Pete writes about the MySpace Emmy Awards.
MySpace and the National Academy of Television are announcing a partnership today around the Broadband Emmy Awards, a user-generated version of the Emmys. Starting February 1st, video producers and filmmakers can submit their entries at the Emmys’ MySpace page - these will then be judged by experts from the National Academy.
There is a lot of movement around the online video contents and it’s all exciting. There’s so much content being published everyday it’s hard to make sense of them. Hopefully contests such as these will continue to gain popularity including The Video Awards!
