Erm, I seem to recall that the site just needs to set the flash version detection to "false", so whats the point in making derogatory comments.

You just demonstrate your own ignorance.

As for getting back in the closet??? You may have forgotten just how large a percentage of websites rely on "niche linux trash" like, erm, stuff you've probably never heard of, like, erm, APACHE!

I'm sure we'd all like to "vote", but as the site dev doesn't seem to have considered accesibility...

All, i've switched the video from using Grouper to using the Youtube version. So there's no reason to get upset :)

Linux users: just edit your plugins.ini and change the flash version from 7 to 9. ymmv, but it works in a lot of places, and gets rid of that stupid warning on myspace

It's hard to truly appreciate this when the compression takes away from the quality... any way we can get a quicktime or higher quality version eventually? :) of course, we'll take what we can get for now! thanks!

is it just coincidence but during the music it looks like the left side of the tube is responding to the Bass frequencies, and the right is responding to high frequesncies. is this actually happening or is it just my imagination?

flash 8 video is so much better than 7. can't you download the flash 8 version and extract/transcode the video (linux users) ?

That is mostly due to the speaker being on the left and the gas input on the right. Sound exists in nature as waves. The brain transforms those waves into pitches. Frequency is merely a term assigned to the number of times a wave cycles in a second. Another reason is the length of a bass wave versus a higher frequency wave. A bass wave can potentially be longer than the tube itself.

ugh. people who bitch about how stuff online doesn't work for linux are the biggest asshats in the computer world. of course nothing works for it stupid, it's an open-source third-party unsupported operating system. besides which, since you basically have to compile every bloody program yourself, you should be nerdy enough to know how to go about fixing whatever problem it was yourself.

basically, if you're unprepared for the consequences of being less than one percent of the internet BROWSING public, then just use a supported operating system, fuckwit.

i can do a lot of things with fire & techno music, but that was way cool.. -> still proving nerds have the most fun:) But as for linux, it f@*%ked my hard drive partion in about 20 seconds flat during installation because i care nothing for computer programming every little bloody thing. so i got windows = expensive, but minus the constant dramas. nerds will be nerds, linux will be linux. stop complaining & go set fire to something..
